Inspired from the Telugu poem "Brahmam Okkate Parabrahmam Okkate" by Sri Tallapaka Annamacharyulu learnt during school days.
We are all the same inside
Pizza or Pickled Rice - it's the same hunger
Foam Bed or Bare Floor - it's the same sleep
Money or No Money - all are humans
Sun doesn't know the colour of our skin
Rain doesn't know the caste created by us
Fire doesn't discriminate us based on religion
Air doesn't change its nature based on intellect
Propelled by Greed,Corrupted by Power
Maddened by Lust, Wounded by Anger
Distanced by Ego, Maligned by Jealousy
It is We who created the differences
A shoulder to lean in times of difficulty
A word of encouragement when you need it the most
A helping hand when going gets tough
A light hearted joke to cheer up the day
All of us need the same things
Birth has brought us into this World
Death will definitely deliver its verdict
What We do in between will define us
We are all the same inside
We are all the same inside
Pizza or Pickled Rice - it's the same hunger
Foam Bed or Bare Floor - it's the same sleep
Money or No Money - all are humans
Sun doesn't know the colour of our skin
Rain doesn't know the caste created by us
Fire doesn't discriminate us based on religion

Sounds interesting in english as well.
ReplyDelete@VVREDDY:Thanks a lot for your encouragement. Just for the clarification, it is not a translation. Just got inspired from it and have taken the theme from there, and told in my own capacity.
