I have but one dream
To leave behind my foot prints on the sands of time that I have lived and not merely existed

Those futile endeavours and countless failures
Those unfinished tasks and unkept promises
Those acts tarred with ego and marred with jealousy
Those innumerable moments succumbed to Temptation
Ring through the hollowness of my being

I aspired to build a mansion - wont I be spared of a hut to shelter my petty self

Every night that ends with turmoil finds its way into a new dawn of hope
Evey act of selfless love imprints itself on the sands of eternity
I have but one dream
